without the overhead.

Core patches and contrib advisories applied within days — tested properly, reported clearly. No agency markup. No retainer. No contracts.

Why this exists

Nobody gets promoted for applying security updates.

AI tools are accelerating vulnerability discovery across the whole software ecosystem, Drupal included. Patches are landing faster, and with less notice, than they used to. Nodely keeps pace — we track the feed, test updates against your specific setup, and deploy within days of each release. It's not glamorous work. We've made peace with that.

What we cover

Security first. Drupal maintenance beyond that.

Security updates are the core of what we do. But keeping a Drupal site healthy goes further — and we can help with all of it.

Security updates

Core and contrib advisories tracked, tested, and deployed within days — not queued for next sprint.

How we handle it →

Drupal version upgrades

Drupal 7 and 9 are both end of life. If your site hasn't moved to D10 or D11, we can get you there with a proper plan.

What's involved →

Contrib module management

Beyond security patches, your module stack needs keeping current. We track releases and advise on what needs updating and when.

What's covered →

Monthly health reports

Every month: what was updated, what the advisory covered, what we checked. Short, honest, no padding.

What's included →

Ad hoc development

We're Drupal developers, not an update bot. Custom code fixes, module configuration, small features — get in touch and we'll scope it.

Who we work with

For site owners and the agencies that build for them.

You run a Drupal site. We look after it.

Professional security maintenance without the cost of a full agency relationship. Fixed monthly fee, proper testing, a report every month. Someone who picks up the phone if something needs attention.

Your team has better things to build.

Good developers shouldn't be spending their time on security patch management. Nodely handles the maintenance track so your team can focus on work that actually moves things forward.

You build it, we maintain it.

White-label maintenance for agency portfolios. You keep the client relationship; we handle the updates under your name. See the agency programme →

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Drupal core security releases and contrib module security advisories. We monitor the official Drupal Security Team feed and apply updates as they're published — not on a schedule that suits us, but as soon as the release is stable and confirmed safe for your specific setup.

For security advisories we aim to have updates applied within a few working days. We review the release first — rushing an untested patch onto production isn't responsible — but we don't queue it for next month either. For critical advisories we move faster and will reach out if anything needs your attention.

We test before we deploy, and if something breaks we fix it — that's part of the work, not an extra charge. We take a backup before every update, so if something goes seriously wrong we can roll back quickly.

No. Monthly, cancel any time. We'd rather earn your business each month than rely on a contract to keep it.

Yes — to do this properly we need access to your codebase (typically a Git repository) and a staging environment to test before deploying to production. If your site is on managed hosting like Acquia, Pantheon, or similar, we work within those platforms. We walk through access requirements during onboarding.

Drupal 7 reached end of life in January 2025. There are no more official security advisories — meaning running D7 is carrying real, unmanaged risk that no update service can address. We can discuss a migration to Drupal 10 or 11. Get in touch and we'll give you an honest assessment of what's involved.
